قُلۡ هُوَ اللّٰهُ اَحَدٌ ۚ ﴿1﴾
(۱) تم فرماؤ وہ اللہ ہے وہ ایک ہے (ف۲)
Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “He is Allah, He is One.”
اَللّٰهُ الصَّمَدُ ۚ ﴿2﴾
(۲) اللہ بےنیاز ہے (ف۳)
“Allah is the Un-wanting.” (Perfect, does not require anything.)
لَمۡ يَلِدۡ ۙ وَلَمۡ يُوۡلَدۡ ۙ ﴿3﴾
(۳) نہ اس کی کوئی اولاد (ف٤) اور نہ وہ کسی سے پیدا ہوا (ف۵)
“He has no offspring, nor is He born from anything.”
وَلَمۡ يَكُنۡ لَّهٗ كُفُوًا اَحَدٌ ﴿4﴾
(٤) اور نہ اس کے جوڑ کا کوئی (ف٦)
“And there is none equal to Him.”
